Learn to Skate Camp participants should expect a fun introduction to the basics of ice skating, whether they choose to pursue figure skating, hockey, or just becoming a better recreational skater.  Excellent supplemental camp for skaters already enrolled Learn to Skate classes.  This camp is recommended for skaters with limited experience, up to the Basic 5 curriculum.

Learn to Skate

The 2013 Figure Skating Camp will run June 10-14, from 12:15 pm – 4:00 pm.  Skaters may be picked up by a parent or guardian at 1:30 pm.  Adult supervision by coaches ends at this time.  We advise that young children should not be left along during the public session.

All participants must hold USFS Insurance, valid from July 1 – June 30 each year.  Insurance may be purchased online or at the Ticket Office.  Those enrolled in both the Learn to Skate Program and Figure Skating Academy only need to pay the annual fee one time each year.

Camp investment is only $160 and includes the following classes and activities:

 

On Ice
Off Ice
Quality Instruction:
  • Professionally trained coaches.
  • 30 minute group lesson.
  • 30 minute supervised practice.
Public Skating Session:
  • 2.5 hours of extra practice.
  • Fun with your friends.
